Bet365 betting boss earns ₤ 213m in one year

In charge of betting firm Bet365 was paid more than ₤ 200m in simply one year, which is one of the biggest salaries ever granted in the UK.
The greatest paid director of Bet365 Group, thought to be creator Denise Coates, made a wage of ₤ 213.4 m in the year to March 2022.
She was also entitled to a minimum of half of ₤ 100m in dividends, regardless of a fall in profits.
Bet365 did not immediately react to the BBC's demand for comment.
But campaign groups such as the High Pay Centre struck out at the statement, arguing it functioned as a suggestion that "too much [money] is going to too few individuals" in the UK economy.
Its spokesperson Andrew Speke said: "It shows if the government wanted to bet9ja's welcome offer greater support to those having a hard time and increase the pay of striking public sector employees dealing with real wage cuts, increasing tax on high earnings and wealth would be among the most efficient ways of funding this promotion code."
Labour MP Carolyn Harris, who co-chairs a cross-party parliamentary group examining gambling-related damage, stated that losses made by users as prices are rising "are spending for the substantial incomes of gambling bosses".
