Russian agricultural producers are more inclined to invest in the renewal and maintenance of previously purchased agricultural machinery than to purchase brand new or used ones. This is evidenced by the result of an analysis made jointly by Avito.ru and AA-P.Ru (www.aa-p.ru). There is a clear trend towards an increase in the service life of agricultural machinery: farmers have become more careful about it, and naturally, the need for new parts and regular maintenance is increasing. Based on the data of the Avito.Ru website, in 2024, the demand for spare parts has increased six times compared to last year, and the supply has increased by ninety percent. The TOP cities with the maximum growth in demand for parts for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with a dynamic agricultural sector.
Based on the information received from the Pole.Ru platform, there is a sevenfold increase in farmers' interest in spare parts for agricultural machinery this year. Farmers now prefer the optimal and, in fact, reliable way to purchase goods via the Internet. In this way, it is immediately clear who the supplier of spare parts is, and comprehensive support is guaranteed, from the selection of goods to the dispatch of the order. At the same time, the trend is the leasing of new agricultural machinery, the demand for which increases three to four times every year, especially taking into account state support.
According to analytics collected from Avito, at the start of 2023, over 140000 applications for the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery in the Russian segment were presented on this site. From this selection, more than 115 thousand applications concerned the sale of new spare parts. The most popular commodity items nationwide during the past year were platforms, booths, bodies, attachments, as well as parts of pneumatic systems. The manager of the thematic direction "Spare Parts" on the Avito.ru platform reports that against the background of the course for import substitution, the agricultural industry is showing active growth and is in constant need of equipment, machinery, components and specialists.
Previously, the Association reported a decrease in the production of tractors in the Russian Federation this year. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, during this year, Russian agricultural producers reduced the level of orders for key types of agricultural machinery. It is assumed that this trend will remain relevant in the current year, 2025.
